Market Research
Observations:
The prevalence of food delivery services is steadily rising, with more than 50% of adults acknowledging the indispensability of pick-up and delivery amenities. Projections indicate that the delivery services sector is poised to surpass a market value of 45 billion dollars by 2025.
The Issue:
While numerous delivery applications exist, there is a noticeable scarcity of platforms tailored specifically to the integration with the hotel industry and poolside locales.

Competitive Analysis
While these three apps weren't focused on hotel or pool services, I gained valuable insights into their strengths and weaknesses.
The Positive:
These applications facilitate users ordering meals from nearby restaurants, providing convenience whether at home, work, or elsewhere.
The Negative:
However, they lack integration with poolside and hotel locations, resulting in longer wait times for orders as they originate from distant venues.

I was able to assess the market, conduct a fast user study on Twitter, and carry out a mini usability study online while working on this project. I also created a set of low fidelity wireframes, connected them into a prototype, and built them out to high fidelity, beautiful UI designs.
